| Schenectady Federal Savings Bank
The bank had purchased a former café and candy store as
the site of its next branch. While the location was ideal, the interior
was ill suited for typical branch operations. Bank officials asked
Bovenzi for a complete retrofitting of the building on a very tight
schedule.
The result: a design that maximized the function of the interior,
preserved the building’s attractive look, and hit every project
milestone. Inside, Bovenzi made optimal use of every square foot
to fit a vault, a new security system, space for personnel, and
other amenities into a tight area. Outside, the team seamlessly
blended a new 24-hour ATM with the building’s exterior—no
small feat on such a small lot.
